Clarence Yarbrough, 37, also known online as ‘Messie Cee’, is facing formal criminal charges following his arrest earlier this summer. The East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office initiated criminal prosecution this week for an incident that occurred on June 11, 2023 in Baker, Louisiana.
Yarbrough is charged with domestic battery abuse, a misdemeanor, and second-degree battery, a felony, per the court documents. The charges result from an episode where Yarbrough allegedly assaulted a man, leaving him unconscious, and damaged his tires.
The incident took place at a Baker, La apartment. Officers from the Baker Police Department found the victim face down in a pool of blood after being flagged down by Yarbrough. Despite multiple attempts to rouse the victim, he remained unresponsive until emergency responders arrived.
Both Yarbrough and the victim were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries. Yarbrough, known for his significant social media presence, was arrested and detained at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
