The alleged incident of sexual assault reportedly happened in 2021 when the young girl was just 11.

The affidavit states that the accused was a friend of the victim’s mother’s family. A forensic interview revealed that the alleged assault took place at Davis’ residence, specifically in his bedroom. The girl disclosed that she was raped and then offered money to maintain silence about the bedroom incident. The girl’s mother claimed Davis gave her $16.

As the investigation unfolded, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office discovered that Davis was categorized as a tier-three sex offender.

Davis faces charges of first-degree rape, with no bond set as of Thursday.
